Privacy Policy
This policy covers fluxfiles.dev (this website) and the FluxFiles software itself.
This website
fluxfiles.dev is a static site. It does not run its own analytics or set tracking cookies beyond what's needed for the pricing checkout flow, which is handled entirely by our payment processor, Polar. We do not see or store your payment details.
The FluxFiles software
FluxFiles is self-hosted, stateless software that you (or your organization) install and run. When you use FluxFiles:
- Files you upload are stored in your own storage backend — local disk, AWS S3, Cloudflare R2, or your own SFTP server. We never receive a copy.
- Access is controlled by short-lived JSON Web Tokens (JWTs) that your application mints. We do not operate an authentication or account system on your behalf.
- Metadata (titles, tags, search index, audit log) is stored alongside your files in your own storage, not in a central database we operate.
- If you enable optional AI features (auto-tagging, background removal), file data is sent to the AI provider you configure (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI) using your own API key — subject to that provider's privacy policy, not ours.
License activation
Paid tiers are verified offline using a license key — no data about your files or users is transmitted to activate a license.
